Join us this August for the Mugen Taiko Dojo summer course & perform at a concert at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. 

The course will be an intensive week learning new skills, technique and rhythms, building up day by day to create a unique piece for the Edinburgh Fringe. All playing levels will be catered for, with a brand new composition which incorporates various styles, and varying levels of difficulty. Each day we will tackle a new style of playing, be it Shimedaiko, Yoko-uchi, Yatai style or Odaiko, learning a new part, which will comprise the final composition. We will also work on choreography, presentation and performance skills - which are Mugenkyo's particular areas of expertise, thanks to over two decades of professional touring.

This is a unique chance to learn from, rehearse and perform alongside members of Mugenkyo and the whole Mugen Taiko Dojo team at our "Taiko Drumfest" concert.
